The problem seems to be with a Unimodem Transform Module (Microsoft provided file) bug. From what I've been able to find on the internet, ![]() I've researched the issue and found that there is a long standing issue (since Vista) with problematic voice functionality and Conexant (at least) voice modems. The phone line results in silence when using TAPI. Unfortunately the playing of wave files to ![]() I want to use my 'as generic as they come' unbranded Conexant CX93010 ACF 'USB Data Fax Voice Modem' to play wave file 'greetings' to callers using appropriate TAPI compliant software on my Win 7 SP1 x86 PC.
